We collect information you provide when you create an account and use DocStak, including:

• Account details: name, email address and password.
• Profile information: first name, last name and optional profile picture.
• Documents and files you upload, and any information you attach to them.
• Assets, events and household information you record.
• Technical information such as device, browser and log data required to run the service.

We use your information only to operate DocStak, including to:

• Provide and maintain your account and the service.
• Store and organise your documents, assets and events.
• Send transactional messages such as password resets and reminder emails.
• Improve reliability, security and user experience.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is protected by authentication and row-level security, so only you and the household members you invite can see your shared items. Documents are stored in a secure, access-controlled file store.

You can create a household and invite family members by email. Any document, asset or event you mark as shared becomes visible to other members of that household. Items marked private remain visible only to you. You are responsible for who you invite to your household.

You can at any time:

• Access and export your information from within your account.
• Correct or update your profile and records.
• Remove documents, assets, events or household memberships.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. When you delete your account, your profile, documents, assets, events and household memberships are permanently removed.
